HorseSense Online Courses

Horsey learning in the cloud!

Online courses for HorseSense Learning Levels
are under construction!

Knowledge = Safety

We want students to learn as much as possible about horses — both under saddle and in the barn — because safety for horses and humans is our #1 goal.

So we’re turning our proven Learning Levels curriculum into online classes that supplement hands-on mounted and unmounted instruction programs.

Want to learn more about keeping horses happy?

You can start by following the new blog of our longtime schoolmaster pony-dragon, Heaven’s Fire.

Are you a riding instructor or equine professional?

We started selling printed study guides for our curriculum in 2007. Those guides now are updated and available as  digital downloads. Plus….

and we're adding new stuff every month.

Just want to buy a study guide for your own equine education?

We now have RAINBOW through PURPLE LEVEL study guides available as printable PDF downloads.

You get unlimited printing for entire guides or individual pages as you need them – or just open them to read from any browser.

You’ll also find Learning Levels ribbons and other resources for equine education in the Shop on our instructor’s site:

Good stuff for anyone who wants a progressive system to teach or learn more about horses!

Of course, you can still download our printable Learning Levels curriculum - FREE since 2005!

We have been blessed with many talented photographers over the years: students who voluntarily stood out in a sweltering/ freezing arena – or slogged up and down our hilly pastures – capturing lifelong memories of camps, clinics, and shows. We’re grateful to all of them!

One such student, Delaney Witbrod, is now a professional photographer with a gift for animal portraits – see more of her fine work here.

You’ll also find illustrations throughout our online courses and printed materials (like study guides) graciously donated by Rhonda Hagy, who is a student and lifelong friend. Contact us for information about her work.

Are we lucky or WHAT?!
